Shape mode is where you form your sculpture. Each tool changes what happens when you touch or stroke the screen.
The "Inside/Outside" button lets you toggle the view, so you can see a cross-section of the sculpture. This allows you to see the thickness of the walls, and the location of the base.
This tool will give you a top or bottom view of your sculpture. If you stroke up and down, you can increase or decrease the number of "curves" in the shape. If you stroke left and right, you can change how deep or shallow the curves are.
If you touch the Random button while in the top view, only the top curve will change, not the side contour of the sculpture.
Touch and hold the Curve button to bring up a dialog box where you can type in values for the number and strength of the curves.
With the size tool, you can stroke up or down to make the Sculpture taller or shorter, or left and right to make it wider or narrower. When you stroke up and down with two fingers, you can raise or lower the base. You need to be in the "Inside" view to see where the base is. You can even move the base to the very top.
If you double tap the Size tool while there is a selection rectangle, you can instantly size the selected area to fill the rectangle.
Touch and hold the Size button to bring up a dialog box where you can type in values for the diameter and height of the sculpture. The maximum size is 38 cm (14.96 inches) for the height and 20 cm (7.87 inches) for the width.
You can also set the position of the base, or remove the base completely.
After sculpting, you may want to smooth some areas to even things out. Stroke up and down to smooth over a wide area, stroke left and right to concentrate on a specific bump or dent.
Double Tap the Smooth button to smooth the whole sculpture at once.
Stroke, Blunt, Point and Smooth are not limited to the selection rectangle, they will edit wherever you touch.
There is a button bar running vertically along the right side of the window with a series of geometric shapes. Use the Select tool to drag a rectangle to select part of the sculpture, and then touch one of these buttons to change the shape of that area.
